About Billions Network
Billions Network is an identity protocol. Its distribution ran on Proof of Personhood, scored through a balance the project calls Power, which rises as a user verifies more aspects of their digital identity. That makes it one of the more sybil resistant designs in this archive, because the thing being measured is precisely the thing a bot cannot fake.
The token launched on 4 May 2026 across seven exchanges at once, with roughly $148 million of volume in the first day and an intraday range above 2400%. The community allocation is genuinely large at 40% of a fixed 10 billion supply, covering Season 1 and Season 2 airdrops plus staking and growth incentives, against 6% for investors.
Then comes the part that defines this airdrop. Much of the Season 1 allocation was auto staked until 31 October 2026. Recipients did not choose this and could not opt out. The project's stated reason was preventing immediate market saturation, and on that narrow measure it worked. What it also did was remove any ability to act during the months that followed, including the rally after launch. An allocation worth several times more in June than in September was, for its holder, never sellable at either price.

How it worked to get the Billions Network airdrop
Verify your identity to build Power
Power was a dynamic score that rose as a user verified more aspects of their digital identity. It was the basis for the whole allocation, and it could not be farmed with additional wallets.
Keep verifying across the season
Because Power was dynamic rather than a single snapshot, adding verifications over time raised the score, so sustained participation beat a single check.
Receive at the 4 May TGE
The token generation event landed on 4 May 2026 with simultaneous listings on seven exchanges. Around 6.28% of the community allocation unlocked at that point.
Find much of it auto staked
A large part of Season 1 was staked automatically until 31 October 2026. This was not optional and applied without the recipient choosing it.
Or claim 2,000 BILL via Binance Alpha
220 Binance Alpha Points allowed a 2,000 BILL claim, first come first served. It consumed 15 Alpha Points and had to be confirmed within 24 hours on the Alpha Events page.
Was the Billions Network airdrop worth it?
- Auto staking removed the decision entirely. Much of Season 1 was locked until 31 October 2026 without recipients opting in. Whatever the token did in between, holders could not act on it. This is the single most important fact about the distribution.
- A paper valuation is not a payout. Allocations that looked highly valuable in mid 2026 were worth considerably less by late September, and the lock meant neither figure was ever realisable. Value an auto staked allocation at what it is worth when it unlocks, not at the peak.
- The sybil resistance was real. Scoring on verified personhood is far harder to game than points, quests or volume. On distribution quality this ranks among the better designs here.
- The community share is large and investors are small. 40% to community and rewards against 6% to investors is a strong ratio, and team tokens sit behind a one year cliff.
- The launch was extremely volatile. An intraday range above 2400% on day one, with roughly $148M traded. Anyone who did have liquid tokens faced a chaotic market for them.
