About Lighter
Lighter is a zero-fee perpetual futures exchange running as its own zk-rollup on Ethereum rather than deploying onto a general-purpose L2. Order matching happens off-chain with validity proofs settling to Ethereum, which is how it sustains zero trading fees.
Season 1 closed with its final private beta distribution on 30 September 2025. LIT launched that December with half of supply allocated to ecosystem growth, and the airdrop to Season 1 and 2 participants represented 25% of fully diluted value — distributed with no claim process and no vesting.
Season 2 is live: 200,000 points are distributed every Friday, covering activity from Wednesday through Tuesday. Market making carries 20% of the weekly allocation but is limited to premium accounts.
Project Fundamentals
How to get Lighter Airdrop
Step 1 :
Trade perpetuals
Step 2 :
Mind the Wednesday-to-Tuesday window
Step 3 :
Trade quality, not just volume
Step 4 :
Consider market making if eligible
Step 5 :
Check the Robinhood Chain route
- Lighter has already distributed once, with no vesting and no claim friction — tokens went straight to eligible wallets.
- Half of LIT supply is allocated to ecosystem growth, so distribution is structurally ongoing rather than one-off.
- The weekly published scoreboard removes most of the guesswork that makes farming a gamble.
- Zero fees make building activity unusually cheap compared with other perp DEXs.
- The Season 1–2 airdrop has closed. Season 2 points are the live opportunity.
- Market-making points are restricted to premium accounts — most users cannot access that 20%.
- Perpetual futures are leveraged instruments. You can lose far more than any airdrop is worth, and zero fees do not change that.
- The Robinhood Chain track has its own rules; do not assume the main programme's terms apply.
