Re Airdrop Timeline
About Re
Re turns reinsurance, the insurance that insurers buy, into onchain yield. Depositors earn through reUSD and reUSDe, backed by real reinsurance contracts. It raised a $14 million seed in 2022 from Tribe Capital, Framework and others.
RE has a fixed supply of 1 billion and claims opened on 18 June 2026. Season 1 points paid out on a sliding scale: anyone with up to 150 million points, about 95% of participants, could claim everything at once. Larger holders received the first 150 million in full plus 10% of the rest, with the remainder released in tranches every six months over three years.
Airdrop Stats
How it worked to get the Re airdrop
Deposit into Re's vaults
Points came from holding reUSD and reUSDe, with extra multipliers for using them in DeFi.
Stay in through Season 1
Points accrued for the whole season, so time in the vaults mattered as much as size.
Claim at the Re app
Claims opened on 18 June 2026. US persons were excluded, and the largest holders had to complete KYC.
Was the Re airdrop worth it?
- Small and mid-sized farmers got everything at once. The 150 million point threshold covered the vast majority of users.
- Whales were paid slowly on purpose. Tranches over three years kept large holders from selling at once.
- Points continue. Season 2 began in June 2026.
