About Lombard Finance
Lombard is a Bitcoin restaking protocol built on Babylon. It issues LBTC — liquid staked Bitcoin backed 1:1 by BTC — letting Bitcoin earn yield while remaining usable as DeFi collateral rather than sitting idle.
It brought LBTC to Solana with day-one integrations across Jupiter, Drift, Kamino and Meteora, so the asset was productive from launch. More than 70 DeFi venues now accept LBTC as collateral, liquidity or yield input.
Its points programme is called Lux, run through the Luminary Program. Season 2 allocated 1.5% of BARD supply — 15 million tokens — on Lux earned between 18 September 2025 and 18 March 2026. Season 3 took its snapshot on 20 July 2026 with a 5,000 Lux minimum threshold, and its claim window closes on 29 October 2026.

Clear the minimum threshold
- BARD exists and multiple Lux seasons have paid out — this is a proven distribution with a published schedule.
- Season allocations are stated in advance as a percentage of supply, which is unusually transparent.
- Over 70 venues accept LBTC, so the asset stays productive rather than locked in one protocol.
- Bitcoin liquid staking is among the fastest-growing DeFi verticals, with billions secured.
- The Season 3 claim window closes 29 October 2026. Unclaimed allocations are forfeited — check before that date.
- Seasons carry minimum thresholds. Season 3 required 5,000 Lux at snapshot, so a small position may earn nothing.
- Bitcoin restaking carries slashing risk through Babylon on top of smart-contract risk.
- LBTC can depeg from BTC in stressed conditions despite the 1:1 backing.
- Lux accrues only on whitelisted chains and protocols — activity elsewhere may not count.
