About Recall
Recall is a marketplace for decentralised AI, where agents compete on measurable performance rather than reputation. Its scoring unit, Agent Skill Points, came from builders entering competitions, which gave the protocol something most AI projects lack: a record of who had actually produced working agents rather than who had talked about them.
The airdrop used that record. Eligibility ran across top Recall power users, AI builders who had competed for Agent Skill Points, and contributors to partner projects in the ecosystem such as ElizaOS. All three are activity based, and none of them could be reached by opening more wallets.
The sybil gate is where Recall separates itself. Every eligible account, without exception, had to prove humanity through the Recall x Passport dashboard and reach a uniqueness score of at least 20 before claiming. Several 2025 launches applied verification selectively, exempting influencers and social contributors while making product users prove themselves. Recall applied the same bar to everyone.

How it worked to get the Recall airdrop
Be a Recall power user
Heavy use of the marketplace was the first qualifying route, measured on genuine activity rather than a points dashboard anyone could farm.
Compete for Agent Skill Points
AI builders earned ASP by entering competitions where agents were scored on performance. This rewarded shipping something that worked, not merely registering.
Or contribute to a partner project
Contributors to AI projects in the wider ecosystem, ElizaOS among them, were eligible without needing to have used Recall directly.
Clear the Passport uniqueness check
Every eligible account had to prove humanity on the Recall x Passport dashboard and score at least 20 for uniqueness. No category was exempt from this.
Claim from 15 October
Eligibility froze at the 3 October 2025 snapshot and distributions began at the token generation event on 15 October through the official claim portal.
Was the Recall airdrop worth it?
- The sybil gate applied to everyone. A Passport uniqueness score of 20 was required across all eligibility categories. No carve out for ambassadors, KOLs or social contributors, which is not how most 2025 launches handled it.
- Merit was measurable. Agent Skill Points came from competitions where agents were scored on performance. Farming that means actually building something that works.
- The 10% figure is not the airdrop. It covers airdrop and TGE activities together, with no published breakdown. Anyone quoting 10% as the community distribution is reading a bundled number.
- Partner contributors qualified without touching Recall. Work on ecosystem projects like ElizaOS counted, which widened the pool beyond the protocol's own users.
- Verification adds friction and loses people. Requiring a Passport score is the right call for distribution quality, but identity checks reliably cost a share of legitimate recipients who will not complete them.
