About Cookie DAO
Cookie DAO indexes attention. It pulls social activity and on chain behaviour into a single view of which projects and which voices are actually being engaged with, rather than which are simply loud.
Its Snaps campaign made that measurable for individuals: accounts earn standing by posting analysis that other people engage with. The same infrastructure later became a widely cited index of AI agent activity as that category grew through 2025.
Airdrop Stats
How it worked to get the Cookie DAO airdrop
Post analysis publicly
Snaps accrue to accounts producing content the index can see and that other people engage with.
Build a track record
Standing accumulates over time rather than from a single post, so consistency counted more than one good week.
Stake COOKIE for a multiplier
Holding and staking the token increased the rate at which Snaps accrued, tying the reward back to the asset.
Take part in project campaigns
Individual projects run their own Snaps campaigns through the platform, each with its own allocation.
Was the Cookie DAO airdrop worth it?
- Capital was not the input. Almost every other distribution in this archive measures money deposited or volume traded. This one measures whether anyone found your writing useful, which opens it to people with no capital at all.
- The measure is inherently contestable. Scoring attention rewards engagement, and engagement rewards volume and controversy as readily as insight. Whether the index captures quality is a live argument.
- It arrived before the category had a name. InfoFi became a recognised theme through 2025. Cookie was indexing attention a year before that, which is what the June 2024 distribution was paying for.
