About Cysic
Cysic sits at the hardware end of crypto infrastructure. Zero knowledge proofs are expensive to generate, and Cysic builds a network that turns ZK ASICs, GPU clusters and repurposed mining hardware into compute that can be verified and paid for on chain. It runs an EVM compatible Cosmos network with a Proof of Compute consensus, and carries two tokens, CYS for utility and CGT for governance and validator roles.
The airdrop spanned six eligibility categories, which is wide even by the standards of this archive. Early Discord members counted as community contributors. CUBE NFT holders had their own track. So did testnet participants, developers, X affiliates and partners, and Kaito yappers. That last one means social activity was scored alongside running hardware, a combination that would look odd on a compute network if it were not so common in this period.
Release terms were middling and clearly stated. Half the allocation unlocked at the token generation event on 11 December 2025, with the remaining half vesting linearly across six months to around June 2026. No burn, no forfeiture and no choice to make, which by late 2025 standards counts as straightforward.

How it worked to get the Cysic airdrop
Join the Discord early
Community contributors, meaning early Discord members, formed their own eligibility category. This rewarded presence before the project was widely known.
Hold a CUBE NFT
Cysic's CUBE collection carried an allocation for holders. This is the detail that gets the project misfiled, since CUBE is the NFT, not the token.
Run the testnet or build on it
Testnet participants and developers were scored separately, the two categories closest to the network's actual purpose.
Or come through social and partner tracks
X affiliates and partners had a category, and so did Kaito yappers, so social reach qualified alongside technical contribution.
Claim half at TGE
The token generated on 11 December 2025 with 50% of each allocation immediately available and the balance vesting linearly over the following six months.
Was the Cysic airdrop worth it?
- The terms were simple and honest. Half at TGE, half over six months. No burn option, no self selected ceiling, nothing to forfeit by choosing wrong. After the mechanics elsewhere in 2025 and 2026, that is worth something.
- Six categories is a wide net. Discord tenure, NFT holding, testnet use, development, partnerships and social activity all qualified, so very different kinds of participant were paid from the same pool.
- Kaito yappers on a hardware network. Social scoring sitting alongside categories for people running proving hardware is an odd fit, and it diluted the pool for the technical contributors.
- The published allocation is incomplete. The figures available account for 64.27% of supply. The remaining third is not broken out in any source checked here.
- Two tokens means read carefully. CYS is the utility token and CGT handles governance and validator roles. They are not interchangeable and coverage sometimes conflates them.
