Biconomy Airdrop
Event Timeline
About Biconomy
Biconomy is a Web3 infrastructure platform that makes blockchain apps easier to use by removing friction from transactions enabling gasless ("meta") transactions where dApps sponsor gas, account abstraction and smart accounts, and cross-chain transfers via its Hyphen bridge. It lets developers give users a seamless, Web2-like experience. Founded in 2019, Biconomy launched the BICO token in November 2021. BICO is used for paying network fees, staking by node operators, and governance.

BICO launched Nov 23, 2021 with a fixed 1B supply, distributed via a CoinList public/community sale rather than a retroactive airdrop. Allocation: 38.12% Community Rewards & Incentives (381.2M), 24.88% Investors across seed/pre-seed/private/strategic rounds (248.8M), 22% Team & Advisors (220M), 10% Foundation (100M), and just 5% Public Sale (50M) all now fully vested. Honest flag: combined insiders (team + advisors + investors ≈ 47%) held nearly half the supply with only 5% sold publicly; BICO is now fully unlocked and trades around $0.02, far below its 2021 highs. Category = Cross-Chain/Interoperability (Web3 infra); Status = Done.

Was the Biconomy airdrop worth it?
- There wasn't a real airdrop. BICO was distributed through a CoinList public/community sale and ongoing incentive programs there was nothing to claim for free retroactively.
- Sale allocation was tiny. Only 5% went to the public sale, while insiders (team + investors) held ~47%, so early access was limited and heavily gated.
- Value evaporated post-launch. BICO peaked around its 2021 listing and has since fallen to ~$0.02 list it as Web3 infrastructure, not an airdrop opportunity.
This airdrop has concluded. It is kept for research rather than participation.
