Initia's 1-billion INIT supply is weighted toward the ecosystem: a full 50% sits in community-facing buckets ,25% to Locked Liquidity & Staking (the "Enshrined Liquidity" mechanism that replaces traditional PoS) and 25% to VIP Rewards, an ongoing performance-based program paying INIT to active users and app-chains. The initial airdrop was a smaller 5% (50M INIT), with ~90% of it directed to testnet users.
The remaining supply covers Investors (15.25%) and Team (15%) ,a combined ~30% to insiders, vesting over four years (1-year cliff, then 3-year linear release) alongside Foundations (7.75%), a Binance Launch Campaign (6%), and the Echo.xyz sale (1%).

- Eligibility spanned a network, not a chain. The testnet ran as a structured campaign across multiple connected rollups, so allocations rewarded sustained activity across the whole surface rather than one qualifying action.
- The campaign was long. Participation stretched across 2024 and into 2025, which favoured people who stayed with it over those who arrived late.
- It was modest by 2025 standards. At roughly $38M the distribution was small next to Berachain or Linea, and the case for it rests on the rollup network rather than the payout.
