About MetaMask

MetaMask is the wallet most people first use to touch Ethereum, built by ConsenSys and the default entry point to the network for the better part of a decade.

When it launched perpetual futures and its Rewards programme in October 2025, ConsenSys confirmed token plans alongside them. Rewards ran as three-month seasons: Season 1 closed on 22 January 2026, distributing over $30 million — in LINEA tokens rather than anything MetaMask-native — with redemption open until 23 February. Points carry forward across seasons.

Rather than continuing straight into a formal Season 2, Rewards returned in May 2026 built around campaigns and trading challenges, plus a Benefits tab that surfaces perks and token allocations based on what a wallet already holds.

How to get MetaMask Airdrop

Make MetaMask your main wallet

Points weight consistency over size. A wallet with genuine history across months reads very differently from one funded just before a snapshot.

Swap inside MetaMask

Use the built-in swap rather than routing to a DEX front-end. Points scale with swap volume, and only in-wallet swaps count.

Trade perpetuals

  1. ConsenSys has officially confirmed token plans — this is not inferred from a points programme, it is stated.
