About Ritual
Ritual is a Layer 1 built for AI, growing out of its Infernet compute network. Founded by former Polychain partners Niraj Pant and Akilesh Potti, it raised $25 million in November 2023 in a round led by Archetype.
Mainnet and RITUAL launched on 26 October 2026 with an initial supply of 10 billion and about 5% yearly issuance. The airdrop was 50 million RITUAL, 0.5% of supply, fully unlocked, for Infernet node operators, users of its Frenrug app and long-standing community members, with sybils filtered out.
